The purpose of this interactive mapping tool is to provide the geographic location for public WiFi hotspots in Texas. These hotspots can be used for remote learning, telehealth visits, remote work and virtual court appearances during the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Users can enter their location to search for available public WiFi within a certain distance.This is a joint project of the Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Texas Legal Services Center – TexasLawHelp and Texas State Library and Archives Commission. Boat People SOS provided translation assistance. Questions or comments regarding the mapping tool can be sent to TexasWiFiMap@tlsc1.org.
